Concrete in the kitchen...why not? Concrete countertops are a great addition to any kitchen or bathroom. While being comparable to the cost of granite countertops, they are durable and give a unique look not avaible with any other product.
For this project, we removed the existing laminite countertops and replaced them with concrete. The coutertops were poured in place so they are entirely seamless. After the concrete set, the surface was stained and then sealed with a food-safe and heat resistant sealer. For additional seating, a breakfast bar was added.
